A Pool, A Pool, My Kingdom For A Pool

OMG, the Blue Power Ranger rocks big time. We now have a fully functioning in-ground pool, with working spa and solar heating. How cool is that? Blue got it into his head a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to get the pool up and running again, so he’s gone and done it all. He fixed the pump and filter, got the spa an air pump so we now have bubbles instead of just water jets and rigged up solar heating using black pipe on the roof of the granny flat.
He found a water supplier with a permit for filling pools and bought the water, which was delivered yesterday. Funny thing though, for all the years we had the pool going before Bazz died, we were of the belief it was about 60,000 litres. When the truck finished filling it, we discovered it is actually only 35-40,000 litres. No wonder we had trouble keeping the PH and other chemical levels right.
It wasn’t that warm when it was full enough to use the waterslide for the first time. I was inside working on my websites when I heard a few blood curdling screams. I raced outside to see who was being murdered!! Well, that’s what it sounded like. They forgot one small thing about the water. It had come from a deep underground bore, so it was f-f-f-freezing cold. I’d never seen brass monkeys swimming before, but now I sure have. It really was a sight to behold.
